Art Camps in Richmond HIll and Markham
What's it like
Our camps focus on creativity and visualizing stories rather than a program heavily focused on skills. The students learn some art skills through creating artworks and experimenting different mediums.
All campers are in the same classroom. Older campers will be grouped together with a different teacher, but they will be in sight of their siblings.
The schedule is 1 hour and 15 minutes per session. There will be breaks in between the sessions.
We aim to finish 6 to 8 projects in 5 days. Some projects will require 2 or more classes due to drying time and complexity.
Art is a learning journey. Some children complete faster while some need more time. We do encourage all children to complete the project after class if they need more time to finish.
We focus on creativity and fun in the camp. They will be making artworks with various materials: acrylic, watercolour, clay, crafts, wood blocks, board, etc.
Materials will be provided for all projects. Campers will be informed before camp if additional materials are required for the campers to prepare on their own.
