Class Policies

Attendance & Learning Commitment

  • To support the best learning experience and creative growth, students are strongly encouraged to attend all scheduled classes consistently. Regular attendance helps children build skills, confidence, and continuity in their artwork.

Absence Notification

  • If a student is unable to attend a class, parents are required to notify the studio using our absence form at least 24 hours before the class start time in order to be eligible for a make-up or postponement.
  • Exceptions may be considered at the studio’s discretion in emergency situations.

Make-Up Classes

  • Make-up classes must be arranged and attended within 14 days of the missed class.
  • Make-up class spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed, due to limited class capacity.

Postponement Limits

To provide flexibility while maintaining class balance:

  • Students enrolled in a 12-class package may postpone up to 2 classes.
  • Students enrolled in an 18-class package may postpone up to 3 classes.

Studio-Initiated Cancellations

  • The studio reserves the right to cancel classes due to extreme or unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of our administration.
  • In such cases, credits or rescheduling will be provided. Refunds are not issued for studio-cancelled classes.

Pick-Up, Drop-Off & Safety

  • Please arrive on time for both drop-off and pick-up.
  • A late pick-up fee of $5 for every 10 minutes will be charged beginning 10 minutes after class ends.
  • For safety reasons, children are not permitted to leave the premises without adult supervision.

Classroom Environment

  • To maintain a focused and comfortable learning environment for all students, visitors and guests are not permitted during classes, unless approved by the studio in advance.

Allergy Policy

  • Due to severe allergies, nut products are strictly not allowed in the studio at any time.

Clothing

  • Smocks or aprons are not provided. Please dress children in clothing that can get messy, so they can enjoy creating freely without concern.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds may be requested for unused classes only and are subject to a $50 administrative fee.
  • Attended classes will be charged at the lowest applicable package rate, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • Example: If a family purchased a 12-class package and the student attended 5 classes, the attended classes will be recalculated using the 4-class package rate. The unused balance, after adjustment and the admin fee, will be refunded. (Available packages: 4, 12, and 18 classes.)

Artwork & Photo Use

  • By enrolling, students and parents agree that artwork and photos taken during classes may be used by Artnection for marketing and promotional purposes only.
